10-Ton Weight Limit Restrictions - Effective March 9th

Due to the freezing and thawing of the earth, if you are traveling through the Village, please note there is a 10-ton weight limit restriction effective March 9, 2026.

Enforcement of weight restrictions on all Village of Chenequa public roads will begin Monday, March 9th.  The weight restriction is 10-ton combined (vehicle and cargo).  Although many private roadways and driveways are not posted, a heavy vehicle can easily cause damage to these roads as well.  Residents are urged to schedule deliveries or restrict heavy truck traffic until after the posting is lifted.

    The affected roads include:

    • Muscovy Road
    • Vettleson Road
    • Pine Meadows Lane
    • Morris Drive
    • Wildwood Point Road
    • Beaver Lake Road
    • Oakland Road/ Hasslinger Drive

We will update our website and remove this notice once the restrictions have been lifted.

    Thank you!
