  • Waukesha County Launches Recycling Smartphone Application

A new smartphone app called Waukesha County Recycles offers residents convenient information about proper recycling and disposal of a wide variety of household items.  The County contracted with the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee’s App Brewery, to develop the app which provides detailed information on what and how to recycle or safely dispose of items, and where to take them, along with navigation to the selected location. This app supports the Waukesha County recycling program mission of educating residents about recycling right which maximizes operational efficiencies, reduces costs and minimizes dangers to collection and recycling facility workers.

For more information about the Waukesha County Recycles app, or other recycling and disposal questions, download the free app in the App Store or Google Play Store today or call 262-896-8300.
