Patriotism or national pride is the feeling of love, devotion, and sense of attachment to a homeland and alliance with other citizens who share the same sentiment. This attachment can be a combination of many different feelings relating to one’s own homeland, including ethnic, cultural, political or historical aspects.

Congratulations Chenequa Residents! Our Village set record numbers this election. At the beginning of Election Day, we had 422 registered voters with an additional seven (7) being added during the day. We issued a record number of absentee ballots – 242 of which 239 were processed. We did not have to issue any provisional ballots. There were 402 votes cast with a record turnout of 96.9%. Thank you for making this a very successful and exciting Election Day and one that our Election Team will always remember. All of our efforts were made worthwhile by so many residents participating in our Democratic process of voting.
